Edith Cavell – Our Staff

Edith Cavell’s staff take great pride in the level of care provided to our residents and are especially proud of the reputation we have earned within the local and professional community.

This is shown in many ways:

Our Nurse Manager, Elaine Chilton, is a Registered Nurse, and has an extensive background in aged care.

Registered nurses are in attendance 24 hours-a-day and are identified in their navy uniforms, whilst all other staff wear lighter blue tops with navy skirts or trousers. A number of staff have been with us for many years, and some have relatives in our care.

Our house doctors are an important part of our care team although residents are welcome to retain their own doctors if they wish. Additional professional services are provided including physiotherapists, podiatrists and dietitians.

We also have a number of local people who pop in to visit and help our residents at various times, and we are grateful for the sense of community that they bring.
